Scott Family Christmas

We celebrated Christmas early this year with Ryan's family. It was a fun day spent at Ryan's parents. We opened presents in the morning and in the evening. We had great food and great company!

Play date with Miss Corinne

We got to watch Corinne for a day. Natalie and Corinne had a great time playing. It is so fun to watch them interact. Corinne is old enough to play with Natalie now. Natalie needs to work on her sharing skills, but they had a great day!

Halloween

Natalie had a great time trick-or-treating this year. She said “this is my favorite” She loved every house we went to. She loves candy! We went to Leigh and Rich’s neighborhood because they are still missing a lot of sidewalks in our neighborhood. She had a ball. She was Fuffa from Yo Gabba Gabba, he favorite show.

Natalie's First Date

Holden invited Natalie to see a dinosaur show at the Center for Performing Arts. It was a little scary at first but she got into it and loved it! You couldn't take pictures during the show, because it was all in the dark with a black light. Now she is really into dinosaurs and the show Dino-Dan on Nick Jr.

The Haunted Trail

We took Natalie to the non scary haunted trail. It was a little too scary for Natalie. She did love the school bus ride back to our car. The the next weekend she told us she wanted to go the haunted trail. She must have forgot how scary it was.

Princesses on Ice

We went to see Princesses on Ice at the Peoria Civic center. Julianna, Michelle and my mom went. We had a great time. Natalie loved every minute. It started at 7pm so I was worried that she won't be able to stay up late but she did great. I think she didn't go to bed until 10pm. We got to see 7 different princesses. I can't wait to go to Disney, she is going to love it!

Pumpkin Patch

We had a great time at the Radar Farm today. My camera broke right after we got there so I didn't get too many pictures. Natalie loved it! We meet up with her friends Lauren, Holden, Hunter, Collin and Cade. I am hoping I can get some picrues from Katie. She loved everything, but we couldn't get her on the little ride, pulled by the tracter. Her favorite thing was chasing the roosters and chickens.

Bed Time

Since Natalie loves her skirts so much we fround some PJ's that have a skirt. She decided to add the wings and magic wand. We have to bribe her to take off the skirts sometimes. She is also really into the rainbow fish. I think Ryan read it 15 times that night.

Doughnut fun!

I took Natalie to Krispy Kreme last week. We have been trying to find fun things to do this summer and I realized Natalie had never eaten a doughnut. We had fun watching the machine make the doughnuts and then eating them. She loved it!

Natalie's new swingset

We got a swing set for Natalie this weekend. Ryan and Rich spent almost all day putting it together. Just as they finished it started raining. I thought we weren't going to get to play today, but around 6:30 it stopped. Natalie loved it! I think she went down the slide 100 times. She would do a little dance and clap every time she went down. So cute!

The Shedd Aquarium

We went to the Shedd Aquarium Friday and had a blast. The only thing Natalie didn't like was the Happy Feet 4D movie. We had to leave because she was crying. I think the people screaming in the audience scared her. She loved the starfish, penguins, and the fairies that were in the dolphin show.

Friends Birthday Party

Here are some pictures from Natalie's friends party. It was so much fun. One of the best parts was trying to get all the kids still sitting on the couch for a picture.

Happy 2nd Birthday Natalie

We had a small family party for Natalie's birthday this weekend. It was a lot of fun. Natalie had a ball. She loved playing with her cousins and having everyone pay attention to her. The theme was "Yo Gabba Gabba." It is her favorite TV show. If you haven't seen it you should check it out.

Beach Video

This video is of Natalie on the beach. She LOVED it! The end shows how she would run into the ocean if we would let her. Sorry mom you are in this one a lot :) Her cousin Julianna is also in the video.

Corinne's Birthday Party

Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter. We went to brunch with Ryan's parents and grandmother. Then played at grandma's house for a while. Natalie got the cutest flapper dress up dress from Great grandma Peterson. Shel loves this dress. She wore it last night over her pajamas. Then we went to Don and Joan's for dessert in the afternoon. They even saved me some tortellini soup! LOVE IT! Natalie loved the egg hunts. Thanks Daniel for putting such great snacks in her eggs. Sorry I only have pictures from the morning.

Dying Easter Eggs

Natalie, Grammy and I died Easter eggs. We had a great time. Natalie loved to throw the egg in the cup. I bought these "no spill cups" not so no spill. It was good because it didn't splash up when she threw the egg in, but she still could stick her hand it the dye. She had a blue hand when we left. I had every color staining my hands. It was a blast! Thanks mom for doing it with us!

Destin

We went to Destin for spring break. We had a blast. Natalie loved the beach. We stayed in a beautiful condo over looking the beach.

Go Wildcats!

A couple of weeks ago, we went to Wisconsin to see Collin's hockey tournament. His team was in the state championships. Natalie had a fun time watching the game. She loved watching Collin do his thing. Collin's team ended up getting second place in the whole state of Wisconsin.

Sleepover

Natalie spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa's Friday night. She had a wonderful time playing. Thanks Leigh and Rich! Ryan and I had a great night too.

Ketchup discovery

Natalie discovered ketchup today. I tried to teacher her how to dip her fries. She just likes to dip and lick. How do you teach an almost 2 year old to bite the fries. I also need to discuss double dipping :)

ABC's ??

Here is Natalie's version of the ABC's. I have been working very hard to get this on video. Usually every time I get the video camera out she just wants to see the pictures on it. It is very hard to get her to preform. This video is from my camera, that's why it is a little dark. I think this is the best age. She goes around singing all the time. I love it!

Bubble Fun!

I thought this was a cute picture. Last weekend we played with bubbles. Natalie loves bubbles! There is even a Yo Gabba Gabba episode about bubble and how they want to be popped. She loved chasing the bubbles all round.

Go Redbirds!

Saturday we went to an ISU basketball game. We took Natalie to one game last year. She had a lot of fun. Ryan's grandma gave us a ticket and we were able to buy another seat right in front of his parents and grandma. Natalie really liked Reggie, but didn't want to get too close. We ate popcorn and had fun clapping for the Redbirds. However they did lose :(
